Ed Sheeran Says Goodbye To His Cat With Sweet Instagram Tribute
It’s a sad day for Ed Sheeran. The pop star’s cat Graham has died after being struck by a car. Now, Sheeran is saying goodbye to his first furry friend.
Sheeran’s manager, Stuart Shaw, and his partner Liberty Shaw, broke the news of Graham’s passing on Instagram. The cat, who Sheeran rescued in 2014, was staying with the Shaws while he was on tour.
“Our lovely little bud Baby Ba Boo aka Graham the Kitten passed away last night after being hit by a car,” she wrote. “We are absolutely heartbroken. He was such a dude. Funny and clever and best mates with a massive German Shepherd. We are going [to] miss you so much. Thanks for all the fun.”
Sheeran’s tribute to his beloved cat was short but sweet. In fact, he didn’t even use words. Alongside an adorable photo of Graham as a kitten, Sheeran left a broken heart emoji.
Graham is survived by Sheeran’s other cats, Calippo and Dorito, who have their own Instagram page.
