Drake Drops Surprise Compilation ‘Care Package’ Celebrating A Decade Of His Career
Get ready to get in your feelings. Drake just dropped Care Package, a compilation of 17 unofficially released tracks that span the last decade of his career. Now, they’re all in one place ready for fans to stream. Blessed be the 6 God and our summer playlists.
Drake announced the surprise release on Instagram Thursday (Aug. 1). “Some of our most important moments together available in one place,” he wrote.
The throwback album includes tracks that were previously only available on YouTube, Soundcloud or extended versions of his album like “The Motion,” which was a bonus track on the Best Buy- exclusive edition of 2013’s Nothing Was The Same. The compilation also includes “Jodeci Freestyle” featuring J. Cole and “Girls Love Beyoncé.”
This isn’t the only new-ish music Drake has dropped this summer. Right after the Toronto Raptors won the 2019 NBA Finals, he dropped two new tracks to celebrate, “Omertá” and “Money In The Grave.”
