Lori Loughlin’s Daughters Return To Instagram For First Time Following College Admissions Scandal
Four months after the college admissions scandal story first broke, Lori Loughlin’s daughters are back on Instagram. Why did they finally break their social media silence? To wish their mom a happy birthday.
When Loughlin turned 55 on July 28, she received a sweet message from her daughters Bella and Olivia Jade Giannulli. “Happy birthday mama. I love you,” Bella wrote, alongside a recent black and white snapshot of her and her mom, totally twinning. Her last post was back in January.
Loughlin then got a belated b’day tribute from her younger daughter Olivia Jade, who posted a sweet throwback photo of her mom. “One day late,” she wrote. “Happy birthday. I love you so much.” It was the 19-year-old’s first post since February 28. Olivia Jade has reportedly said she was taking a year off from social media, following allegations that her parents had lied to get her and her sister into the University of Southern California.
The messages are a hopeful sign for Giannulli family. It was previously reported by CNN that the relationship between the Full House star and her daughters was “very tense.”
In April, Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud, bribery, and money laundering for allegedly paying $500,000 to a fake charity to get their two daughters accepted into USC.
