Ding! “You have one new notification.” Oh it’s from Pampers…”Your baby’s diaper needs a change.”

Pampers is determined to re-imagine and reinvent baby care and they’ve just come one step closer.

A brand new diaper is coming to the shelves and its way more than just a diaper. Lumi by Pampers is a brand new line of smart-tech baby bottoms that alert the parents of soiled diapers through text message.

The smart diaper not only demands a change, but it also tracks the baby’s sleep time, number of pees (not the number of poops), and even includes a baby monitor with the product so the parents can watch the baby via app.

The Lumi sensors will have to be replaced every 13 weeks and will only come in sizes zero to four. Pamper Lumi’s will apparently be releasing in Fall of 2019, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
