What We Learned Today! 5/28
Everyday we like to reflect on what we learned during the Morning Show. Join us for more wisdom tomorrow morning from 5:30-10!
- If you’re looking for a pet, the popular 90’s toy, Tomagotchi’s are coming back!
- Driving in flip flops isn’t illegal but you can still be slapped with some hefty fines and even a reckless driving charge if you’re in an accident.
- We’re all going to Texas! There’s movie theater that serves wine and whisky and allows you to bring up to two dogs.
- 70 year old Gary Marquadt taught himself to play the trumpet four years ago. He visits cemeteries almost every day to play taps at military graves; and also volunteers for Bugles Across America, a nonprofit that recruits trumpeters to play taps at military funerals.
- 71% of Americans will be traveling this summer for vacation. That number is up from 58% last year. Boomers and gen Xers plan to splurge on food and drink. Millennials and Gen Zers plan to splurge on adventure and experience.
