What We Learned Today! 5/17
Michael Waite and Jessie in the morning
Everyday we like to reflect on what we learned during the Morning Show. Join us for more wisdom Monday morning from 5:30-10!
- A steakhouse in England, accidentally served a group of diners a bottle of wine worth $5,700 after they ordered one worth only $330. It’s believed the manager in the restaurant picked up the wrong bottle, as it looked very similar to the one ordered. Nobody at the restaurant was fired.
- A man from England was having buyer’s remorse after he spent almost $300 on a fake Picasso. He got it appraised and shows signs that it could be real. If it is, it can be worth $960,000
- Tomorrow is ‘I love Reese’s day.’ Calories don’t count so you can celebrate with a Reese’s ice cream cake.
- Good news! Nutritionists say the rotisserie chicken is high protein, iron, calcium, vitamin A. Bad news! The skin and season is high in sodium and that’s the best part.
- A Senior German Shepard named Higgens stole the heart of 22 year old Brendon Reed and went to his fur-ever home after 2,381 long days waiting in the shelter. Happy Tails, Higgens.
