State Department Issues Updated Travel Alerts
The United States Department has updated its travel alerts just in time for Summer and if you’re planning to travel outside the country, it’s a good idea to find out if there are any safety concerns. 57 countries are currently on the list including the Bahamas, United Kingdom, France, and Spain. The threats range from level 2, which means “Exercise increased caution,” to level 4 which advises “Do not travel.” There is a Smart Traveler Enrollment Program that will send you alerts about possible threats at the U.S. State Department’s website, travel.state.gov.
