Khalid Drops Sophomore Album ‘Free Spirit’
Today (Apr. 5), Khalid dropped his sophomore album, Free Spirit.
The album contains 17 songs and is the follow up to Khalid’s 2018 EP Suncity.
The project also comes paired with a short film that’s titled Spirit, which is directed by Emil Nava. The sole feature on the album is John Mayer on the track “Outta My Head.”
Free Spirit contains Khalid’s singles “Talk,” “My Bad” and “Self”.
The 21-year-old El Paso, Texas native is currently gearing up for his Free Spirit world tour, which kicks off in Phoenix, Arizona on Jun. 20.
The tour also makes stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, New York City, Toronto, and Atlanta, while concluding in Miami on Aug. 17.
Tickets for the Free Spirit tour go on sale today and every ticket purchased comes with a copy of the album.
