After winning two awards for Best Costume and Production Design, Marvel’s Black Panther also won for Best Original Score at the 2019 Oscar’s.
The film’s composer, Ludwig Goransson graced the stage to accept the award, making it his first nomination and Academy Award.
Goransson thanked the film’s director Ryan Coogler, and noted the film as “one of the most important cinematic films in history.”
