Woman Returns From Vacation With Fly Larva In Forehead
When you go on vacation you might come home with a t-shirt or a magnet as a souvenir. You probably don’t expect to return home with a fly larva living in your forehead. A British woman came back home after a visit to Uganda and felt fine until she noticed a lump on her forehead. After a few trips to the ER, doctor’s realized that a maggot had moved into her forehead. They were able to coax it out and her wound eventually healed with any further issues. Doctor’s said that perhaps she came into contact with the eggs on a wet towel and that generally, maggots do not nest under human skin.
