- Valentine’s Day won’t be the same this year! Since Necco went out of business, there will be NO SWEETHEARTS CANDY! The candy’s new owner, Spangler, plans to re-release the candy in time for V-day 2020.
- To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the beloved film, the Wizard of Oz, you can catch it on big screen for 3 days. Jan 27th 29th and 30th!
- Another mom myth busted. Going outside with wet hair will not make you sick. The best way to prevent illness is frequent and correct hand washing to kill the cold germs before they enter the body.
- If you are trying to lose a few pounds, the food at work is sabotaging your diet, including that office pizza, birthday cake, and vending machine snacks. Most Americans spend most of their waking hours at work and may be prone to stress eating.
- Filing taxes, budgeting, managing mental well-being, understanding loans, and negotiating are skills that Americans wish they learned in school. They sure would come in handy while we are using algebra and calculus every day.
