After creating tons of buzz at film festivals, the Joan Jett documentary Bad Reputation has finally dropped a trailer on the masses, as well as a release date.

Bad Reputation chronicles the incredible journey of Jett from her days in The Runaways to launching her own record label to kick start her solo career and all of the sexism she had to battle to become the legend she is today.  A number of artists appear in the documentary including Iggy Pop, Debbie Harry, Pete Townshend and Billie Joe Armstrong.

Bad Reputation will be released in theaters and through on-demand services on September 28, with special screenings taking place on September 26.  Additional details on special screenings will be available soon.
