The Philadelphia Eagles welcomed the Harlem Globetrotters to Lincoln Financial Field on Monday for the first ever trick shot video at the home of the Super Bowl Champions.

As the Harlem Globetrotters prepare for five games in the Philadelphia area this weekend, Zeus McClurkin and West Philly-native Swish Young teamed up with Eagles legend Harold Carmichael, their mascot Swoop, and members of the Eagles Drumline and Cheerleaders.

Zeus and Swish nailed back-to-back shots from the Linc’s upper level concourse to a hoop on the main level below.  Zeus then followed that up with his own “Philly Special” – a shot from the last row of section 237 to a hoop outside of the stadiu

The Globetrotters may have had a small role to play in the Eagles success in the early part of their Super Bowl run. Despite early doubters, Globetrotters star Handles Franklin “put some wins” in the arm of Carson Wentz back in August.  He spun a basketball on his finger in an attempt to transfer wins from the “world’s winningest team” to the arm of Wentz – calling him the “best quarterback in the NFL” months before the critics started to believe that might be true.

The Globetrotters will play the following games in the Philadelphia area as part of their “Amazing Feats of Basketball World Tour”:
Friday, March 2 at 7pm – Liacouras Center at Temple
Saturday, March 3 at 2pm & 7pm – Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton
Sunday, March 4 at 12pm & 5pm – Wells Fargo Center
