Due to unrest in St. Louis, Ed Sheeran will not be performing this weekend.

Earlier today, U2 also canceled their stadium show in St. Loius, citing concerns for their fans safety. According to USA Today, protests erupted in St. Louis after a former police officer was acquitted of first-degree murder charges stemming from the shooting death of an African-American man.

Now, an article published in TMZ states that Ed Sheeran’s show on Sunday evening has been canceled as well. The promoter of Sheeran’s show issued a statement citing the reason for the cancellation is due to a lack of available police officers to keep fans safe.

Fans that purchased tickets will be refunded for the total purchase price of their ticket.
