Coldplay has released a new song, “A.L.I.E.N.S.,” and accompanying video to benefit the Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS), a non-governmental organization that helps rescue refugees in the Mediterranean Sea.
The song will be featured on Coldplay’s upcoming EP, Kaleidoscope, which comes out July 14, and the video aliens fleeing dangerous situations in outer space — a visual metaphor, of course, for the refugee crisis in the Middle East and Europe.
Coldplay is currently on tour in Europe and kicks off its next North American tour on August 1 in East Rutherford, N.J.
