Join WJBR together with current and retired first responders to host the Heroes End of Watch Benefit and Motorcycle Run and a family-friendly Picnic, in honor of the six public servants that died in the line of duty in Delaware this past year.
The Memorial Motorcycle Run will organize at 9:00AM at Rommel Harley Davidson Smyrna, at 450 Stadium St, Smyrna, DE, and travel to Delaware Park, arriving at about 11:45AM. Admission to the Run is $15 per Rider and $10 per Passenger and includes admission to the post run Picnic.
The family picnic festival will open at 10:00AM in Delaware Park’s Picnic Grove. There will be food truck vendors, specialty drinks, a kids’ play area with face painting and moon bounce, raffles and live music. An on-site first responder demonstration area will feature equipment and vehicles from fire companies and police agencies throughout the state, as well as live demonstrations by the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit.
