Ryan's Wines 2 Year Anniversary Party
Ryan's Wines & Spirits, located in Independence Mall on Rt.202, is celebrating its 2nd year anniversary. “Step Into Service” Grants From UnitedHealthcare
UnitedHealthcare is partnering for the fifth year with the nonprofit Youth Service America to give children the opportunity to get active while learning about childhood obesity. Grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded to youth-led programs that include both an activity element, in which kids count their steps, and a service component that provides direct service, enables advocacy to help eradicate childhood obesity or features youth philanthropy. To apply, go online to www.YSA.org/HEROES. Applications for UnitedHealth HEROES grants are due before midnight Monday, Oct. 15, 2012. Grant recipients will be notified in November.
