Community Action celebrating 46 years of service
First State Community Action Agency will be celebrating 46 years of service with a Dinner & Recognition Ceremony, Monday, November 21, 2011, 5:30PM, at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, Delaware. The event’s theme is “Working for Opportunity and Economic Security in Delaware,” and is set to honor major champions of the agency whose service, dedication and support has helped First State bring programs of relief and hope to communities affected by poverty. Highlights of the evening will include musical entertainment by Shades of Blue, magnificent food, silent/live auctions, and dynamic keynote speaker, Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn. Tickets are $60.
