Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees is the annual event ushering in the holiday season statewide. Hosted by Delaware Hospice to support its programs, the Festival features a magnificent display of decorated trees and wreaths and hosts thousands of vistors each year.

MPE Park and Walk Event
Mount Pleasant Elementary School is inviting parents to park and Bellevue State Park and walk with their children to school in an effort to make walking and biking to school safer and encourage more students to do so.

I Know it’s Only Rock & Roll, but…..
— Just take those old records off the shelf! The American Lung Association in Delaware and the Cancer Support Community Delaware will sponsor “Battle of the Bands 3,” a competition of bands, Friday, November 18 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Talleyville Fire Hall at 3919 Concord Pike in Talleyville. All proceeds will benefit the lung health programs of the ALA-DE and the cancer wellness programs of Cancer Support Community Delaware.
Battle of the Bands 3 will feature classic and modern rock cover bands Code Blue, The Dysrhythmics, and Chem 7. Code Blue and Dysrhythmics consist of physicians from the Wilmington area.
Patrons will have the chance to cheer on their favorite band, and provide one dollar per vote. To attend, there is a fee of $25. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments, a cash bar and dancing. Only 300 tickets will be sold and are not available at the door. Patrons must 21 years of age or older.

Winter Wonderland
St Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in historic New Castle is holding their Christmas Bazaar, Winter Wonderland, on November 18, 19 and 20.
Homemade crafts, baked goods, wreathes, a white elephant table, and gifts will be on sale Friday evening, 6 - 9 pm; Saturday 11 am - 6 pm and Sunday 9 am - 5 pm in the upper Gymnasium at 521 Harmony Street. Many independent craft vendors will be selling their items in the basement on Friday and Saturday.
Santa arrives by firetruck on Friday night at 6:30.
You can have lunch with Santa Saturday from 11 am - 2 pm.
Sunday, from noon - 6 pm, there will be an Italian Spaghetti dinner in the lower gymnasium.

Daisy and Brownie Girl Scout Day
10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Events include a hayride, campfire cooking, Leave No Trace activities and a hike! Girl Scouts will work on two "Try-Its": Ready Set, Go Camping and Eco-Explorers.
Register by November 12.
$8 per scout.
