Underneath It All
You'll be amazed at what women did to get dressed in the Colonial and Victorian eras. The first part of the program will featuring Betsy Martino, with the help of a colonial servant. Pretzel Up! A Yoga Class for Kids!
Yoga classes will be offered at Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children November 17- December 29, and January 5th – February 23, on Thursdays 4:15-5:00PM.
Classes are for ages 5 and up for children with and without disabilities and include a yoga mat and eye pillow. The emphasis is to introduce children to yoga and to have fun. Classes will explore positions, breathing techniques, visual imagery and relaxation. Besides improving flexibility, balance, posture, strength and endurance, yoga also builds self esteem and confidence.

Owl Prowl at Brandywine Creek State Park
5 p.m.
$5 per person
Following an introduction to the owls of northern Delaware, we will venture into the park to listen for some resident wild owls.
