Southern Delaware Therepeutic & Recreational Horseback Riding
The public is invited to join in the annual "Redden Ride and Walk" on October 16 (rain date October 23), 2011, to benefit Southern Delaware Therapeutic and Recreational Horseback Riding (SDTRHR), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides equine-assisted therapy promoting the physical, emotional and educational growth of children and adults with special needs in our community. SDTRHR is certified by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH). Our PATH-certified therapeutic riding instructors and trained volunteers have provided planned sessions in equine-assisted therapy to children and adults with special needs since 1988.

CULTURAL CROSSROADS: Music & Culture of the Andes
Explore the musical traditions of the Andes mountain region with nationally acclaimed ensemble Andes Manta and the Delaware Children’s Chorus. Event includes a panpipe-making workshop, an alpaca petting zoo, a raffle drawing and a Peruvian art exhibit.

Homemade Bake Sale!
Operation Up Link is an organization that provides calling cards to our deployed soldiers and hosptilalized veterans to reach out their loved ones. Don't miss out on homemade cakes, cookies, brownies, and fudge. There will also be a harvest raffle. All proceeds will benefit Operation Up Link! Please come out and support our troops and veterans from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Delaware State Treasury Celebrates National Save for Retirement Week
The Delaware State Treasury will host a series of events throughout the state to celebrate “National Save for Retirement Week.” During the week, the State Treasury will promote the benefits of saving for retirement among Delawareans and launch its innovative statewide savings campaign, “Earn. Save. Invest. PROSPER.”
