2011 Summer Program Season Finale at Penn’s Landing to feature
World Famous Philadelphia Orchestra as part of its
Free Neighborhood Concert Series, presented by Wells Fargo
The Philadelphia Orchestra, following a summer of acclaimed performances throughout North America and Europe, reaffirms its commitment to the people of Philadelphia with the announcement of the 2011 Free Neighborhood Concert Series presented by Wells Fargo. Following last summer’s blockbuster Independence Day weekend appearance, The Philadelphia Orchestra returns to the RiverStage at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing on Sunday, October 9, at 6:30 PM for its second free Neighborhood Concert of the season. Wells Fargo has supported The Philadelphia Orchestra’s Neighborhood Concerts for eight consecutive years, with this fall’s concerts.
