Whether your kids have dealt with it directly or are lending support to a friend who's experiencing the problem, there are plenty of resources out there to help students cope. Here are some organizations worth looking into if your child is dealing with bullying:

The organization provides support to LGBTQ youth over the phone, online, and through a text message service. There are also events that happen in select cities.

The leading nonprofit dedicated to ending bullying across the nation, Stomp Out Bullying is focused on putting a stop to in-person harassment, as well as cyber bullying. The organization provides support for those who are dealing with bullying, and raises awareness through in-school peer mentoring programs. It's got a number of celebrity spokespeople working to spread its message.
